Events & Programs

Regular events organized by Vegetarians of Washington include:

Vegfest, our biggest event of the year, every March.
Our Monthly Dining Event is held at 6:30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, at the Mount Baker Club in Seattle.
Nutrition & Cooking Classes, including our popular "Body, Mind and Spirit" yoga/nutrition classes, occur regularly all year.
Social Events we have had include picnics, hiking trips, and bowling -- with more events to be added in the future.

Special Events may include special speaker engagements, cooking demonstrations, and other one-time-only events.

To help teach people about the benefits of "going veggie", we take advantage of opportunities to display our literature wherever possible. We table at other festivals & events, and provide a Speakers Bureau service, where we provide a speaker and a slide presentation to organizations and schools when requested.
