Come join us on Sunday July 11th for the third annual Vegetarians of Washington picnic at Carkeek Park, Seattle. We'll start the picnic at 12:30pm. Meet at the picnic tables on the slope below the picnic shelter.

This beautiful 216 acre park in northwest Seattle overlooks Puget Sound with extraordinary views of the Olympic Mountains.

It has facilities for everyone. There are hiking trails through the woods, a children's play area, access down onto the beach and wonderful views. For the kids entertainment we have arranged for the clowns Zero & Somebuddy to be there from 1pm-2:30pm. So bring your own food and drink, and come for a fun afternoon.
