The Vegetarian Solution, written by
Stewart Rose, our Vice President, shows how our food choices have a huge impact
on our risk of many common diseases. Not only a solution to our health concerns,
it also shows how a vegetarian diet can be a solution to environmental crises
such as water pollution and global warming, to feeding the world’s hungry and to
giving the animals a better life.
Fully referenced for those wanting to investigate
further, there are also charts and illustrations to aid understanding. Practical
pointers are offered for making changes to your diet.
I highly recommend the Vegetarian Solution to all those wanting to maintain or
regain their health.”
- Neal Barnard, M.D.
President, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine
“The Vegetarian Solution is a factual, scientific-literature-supported treatment
of a most important subject. The upbeat and fun-filled perspective is refreshing
and makes the facts actually most interesting and easy to read.”
- Ray Foster, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Staff Physician Black Hills Health and Education
“The Vegetarian Solution presents the most comprehensive evidence in favor of a
